THERE was a bit of melancholy in the face of Bea Alonzo when we saw her sitting in the table at the posh event of 13th Manila’s Best Dressed which was held at the Dusit Hotel, Makati.

We felt that there was a pensive contemplation in between the smiles and pictorials with some of her followers inside the function room.

Hmmm, could it be the rumored cooling off between her and her boyfriend, Mr. Z (Zanjoe Marudo)?

Yes, the issue was denied a couple of times but there was more than meets the eye. Sooner or later, we will definitely find out the truth to this rumor.

PAULINE Aguilar, the fast-rising star of GMA 7′s Master Showman Walang Tulugan, is apparently living to the title of her Kapuso show because for the past weeks, wala talagang tulog ang dalaga.

Just imagine, after the series of shooting days with TV 5′s Marvelous Allejo for the indie film, Mga Munting Pangarap sa Kapirasong Papel, Pauline shoot up the heat by taping a TV commercial for KFC, this time with Kapuso star Kris Bernal.

Sabi nga, when it rains, it pours. She is unquestionably expanding her wings and meeting a lot of people and stars and these help her a lot. Naging kaibigan pa niya ngayon sina Marvelous and Kris.

And to top it all, her latest single Ang Puso sa Plato, a novelty song, is already out in the social media. ‘Kasuwerte naman talaga ni Pauline.

THE celebrated singer of the phenomenal song Pusong Bato, Aimee Torres, enjoyed the night of her natal day at the posh Trader’s Hotel in Roxas Boulevard in a family get together with some close friends from the industry and one of the issues which was laid down on the table after the feast is the imitation of her hit song which was patterned and arranged ala-Pusong Bato.

The song was titled Kukong Bato, sung by a comedian with a rapper on the side, and according to some reports, both of them are performing the song on fiestas and events in suburbs, to the extent of guesting on a couple of radio programs and TV shows, singing the said song without the knowledge of the official publisher of Pusong Bato, which is Star Records.

According to an insider, Star Records is now in the process of investigating the reports and they are now asking for a copy of the song Kukong Bato and if it is proven that the song of this comedian is patterned to the original Pusong Bato, this comedian is definitely in hot water.

Anyway, Aimee along with her parents just laughed it off leaving it to the management of Star Records to penalize all the imitators.

For the record, Aimee is loveless for more than five years straight. No boyfriend, fling, fubus, just the traditional work and home routine, believe it or not.

Perhaps, this is because of her focus and dedication on her work as an artist. It’s not easy to be a hit maker, having to be on call everytime and to perform left and right on events across the country especially now that her calendar ‘till early next year is almost full.

Or maybe, it is because her puso is already bato! ‘Wag naman sana…
