2013 has been a year full of challenges for us Filipinos. But it was also the year that we showed to the world that we can overcome any adversity.
New Year brings with it the hope of new beginnings and fills our hearts with the courage to face the challenges that life brings. We celebrate the coming of the new year for it is the time to start over, a time to rebuild. And as we do so, may we learn from the past and use it as a foundation to build a stronger, better future.
Along with all the new hopes and promises that the New Year brings, I pray that it also brings more opportunities for all of us to work together to serve our fellow men and build a better Philippines.
