ISTANBUL (AFP) – Inihayag ng pangunahing opposition grouping sa Syria na dadalo ito sa peace talks kung bibitiw na si President Bashar al-Assad sa kapangyarihan at hindi makikialam sa alinmang transition process.
Sa pahayag ngayong linggo na inilabas pagkatapos ng dalawang araw na pulong sa Istanbul, sinabi ng National Coalition na makikibahagi ito sa peace talks sa Geneva “on the basis of the full transfer of power.”
Nilinaw din na dapat na “Bashar al-Assad and those with the blood of Syrians on their hands have no role in the transitional phase and Syria’s future.”
