RAFAEL NADAL avenged his defeat to David Ferrer a few days ago with an emphatic 6-3, 6-2 win in the Barclays ATP World Tour Finals.
Ferrer ended a nine-match losing streak against his fellow Spaniard in the semifinal of the Paris Masters last Saturday.
But it was a very different story from the start as Nadal played his first match at London’s O2 Arena in two years, the 27-year-old needing just an hour and 14 minutes to complete the victory.
One more win and Nadal would guarantee he finishes the year as world No. 1 ahead of Novak Djokovic. Noli Cruz
