A DEMON of the past reared its ugly head on Rafael Nadal during his second round match against his 2012 Wimbledon conqueror Lukas Rosol.
Already a set down, Nadal was broken early in the second set by an inspired Rosol and found himself trailing, 2-4, in the second set.
Nadal got the break back, but his lanky rival continued to push and held a set-point in the tiebreak. Down 5-6, Nadal held his two serves to move ahead and took the set when Rosol double-faulted on his turn to serve.
It was all Nadal from there, breaking Rosol early in each of the next two sets on his way to a 4-6, 7-6 (6), 6-4, 6-4 win. Noli Cruz
