MAAARI nang sumabak ang homosexuals sa gaganaping 2014 Winter Olympics sa Russia.
Ayon kay Russian President Vladmir Putin, pinaplantsa na nilang mabuti ang event na gaganapin sa kanyang summer residence sa Black Sea resort town kung saan katuwang niya sa pagpeprepara si International Olympic Committee President Thomas Bach at iba pang sports officials.
Isinali ang mga homosexual upang maging komportable aniya ang mga atleta at mga magsisipagpanood.
“We are doing everything, both the organizers and our athletes and fans, so that participants and guests feel comfortable in Sochi, regardless of nationality, race or sexual orientation,” ani Putin.
Una nang inayawan ng legendary singer na si Cher na mag-perform sa 2014 Winter Olympics sa Russia dahil daw sa mga anti-gay laws ng nasabing bansa.
