Nais mo bang magkatrabaho kahit hindi ka tapos ng kolehiyo?

Nangangailangan ng 47,000 empleyado ang industriya ng transportasyon, partikular ang mga bagong luxury cruise ship sa ibang bansa na mag-uumpisa nang maglayag sa mga susunod na buwan.



“The trend towards luxury travel is also sustained, which means jobs for cruise ships for Filipinos will continue to grow…15 new cruise ships are scheduled to come in to service in 2014 with 47,000 new sea jobs to be created,” ayon kay Labor Secretary Rosalinda Baldoz kaugnay sa resulta ng pag-aaral ng Bureau of Local Employment (BLE).

Anang Kalihim, mangangailangan ang mga luxury cruise ship ng mga entertainer at iba pang service-oriented position tulad ng waiter, massage therapist, hair stylist at deck assistant.

Kakailanganin lamang ng mga aplikante ang kanilang high school diploma, nakapagsasalita at nakapagsusulat ng English, at work experience sa mga establisimiyento na may kinalaman sa turismo tulad ng hotel, casino o spa.

Aniya, posibleng makatanggap ng sahod mula $1,800 hanggang $2,400 para sa waiter at $2,800 hanggang $4,800 sa hair stylist.

“Cruise ships vacations are becoming more popular, so global demand is expected to increase in the next five years with new cruise ships to be put in operations,” ayon kay Baldoz.
