P295M traffic signalized system, ‘di total solution—MMDA chief

“We have a helpful tool but a big aspect in addressing the traffic congestion is discipline among road users,” giit ni Tolentino.

“We began with 85 priority intersections, that’s only a small portion. Under the whole plan, we plan to cover 465 intersections,” paliwanag ni Tolentino.

“It is real time data from the streets. We have detectors from the ground that process the vehicle count and compute the volume. It calculates what the best timing for the traffic lights is,” sabi ni Carl Decloedt, Indra project manager, tungkol sa automated traffic management system.

– Anna Liza Villas-Alavaren
