DERRICK ROSE of the Chicago Bulls will undergo surgery after an MRI revealed a medial meniscus tear in his right knee.
There is no timeline for Rose’s recovery from the procedure, which has yet to be scheduled.
The former NBA MVP also required surgery to repair a torn medial meniscus in the same knee in Nov. 2013 and missed the remainder of the 2013-14 season while recovering. He also had a surgery to repair a torn ACL in his left knee, causing him to miss the 2012-13 season.
Rose has averaged 18.4 points and 5.0 assists in 46 games. Noli Cruz
