SHOCKED ANG MGA AVID FOLLOWERS NI ATE VI!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Shocked ang mga dyed in the wool Vilmanians ni Ms. Vilma Santos when our write-up on their idol came out some two days ago.
All the while kasi, they had this misconception that I was no longer that fond of her and had shifted my loyalty and devotion to other actresses.
Of course I have to admit that there are some personalities in the business that I do admire from a distance like Ate Vi but the kind of devotion that I have felt for Queenstar Vi has always been that special.
In the few occasions that we would have an audience with her, she’d make Papa Abs and I feel truly special.
‘Yan nga siguro ang magic ni Ate Vi. She may be the star for all seasons but somehow, she has maintained that kind of special quality that makes her the much sought-after actress/politician that she is today.
That trait, if I may be honest about it, is admittedly rare in today’s actors who are practically reeking with delusions and self-importance.
But are they?
The answer, I suppose, is not altogether on the affirmative side. Hahahahahahahahaha!
Love you Ate Vi. I always will I guess even if I get to see you very rarely!
NAPAKA-SYMPHATETIC NG CHARACTER NI MS. AI-AI SA DYESEBEL!
I’m not a big fan of Ms. Ai-ai delas Alas but lately, I have become quite fond of her primarily because of the kind of role that she has at Mars Ravelo’s legendary epic fantasy Dyesebel.
Bilang Banak, lagi niya kaming pinaiiyak sa kanyang down-to-earth delineation ng kanyang role.
Side by side with Eula Valdez’s fiery delineation of her character Dyangga, lumalabas talagang underdog at symphatetic ang role ni Ms. Ai.
Nung isang gabi na lang, pinaiyak na naman niya kami nang i-disown niya ang kanyang loyalty sa character ni Albert Martinez para maprotektahan ang batang si Dyesebel sa bangis ni Dyangga.
Nang mag-isa na lang kasi siya, mataimtim siyang humingi ng tawad kay Prinsipe Tino (Albert’s character) dahil kailangan nga niyang gawin ‘yon para kay Dyesebel.
Anyhow, habang nagtatagal, lalong tumitindi ang mga kaganapan sa Dreamscape master piece na’to na umiere right after TV Patrol.
And speaking of Eula Valdez, bonggacious talaga ang kanyang intensity bilang aktres.
Unlike other actresses, she’s convincing both as a heroine and as a villainess as well.
Magpahanggang ngayon, unmatched pa rin ang kanyang Amor Powers role sa Pangako sa ‘Yo.
HOW SAD TALAGA!
NAKALULUNGKOT naman ang attendace sa isang award-giving body lately.
Karamihan daw sa mga awardees ay in absentia dahil mas pinili pa ng mga itong um-attend ng kasalan kaysa tanggapin ang kanilang award.
Ano ba ‘yan?
Ganyan na ba talaga ang labanan sa ngayon? Hindi ba’t respetado naman ang mga taong bumubuo ng nasabing award-giving body?
Oh, well, TV coverage indeed spells magic inasfar as most showbiz personalities are concerned.
Buti pa si Pokwang at um-attend.

No wonder, 22% ang rating na nakuha ng kanilang Mira Bella when it premiered last Monday right before TV Patrol goes on the air.
