OF late, controversial singer of the hit song Pyramid, Charice Pempengco, hugged the headline when she and her mom decided to patch things up and live together under one roof with her partner Allysa. And just last week, the lesbian singer posted an attention getting statement regarding the supposed treatment of the Filipinos towards her.
According to Charice, she is a bit confused why Pinoys are treating her differently amidst her inclusion on international shows with the pride of being a Filipina.
“Sa ilang taon na nagtatrabaho ako, hindi man kasingtagal ng ibang idols niyo, mahirap pa rin ‘yung pinagdaanan ko. Nakikipagsapalaran sa bansang ‘di ko kinalakihan.
“Napasama ako sa mga malalaking TV shows pero pagdating ko rito, iba pa rin ang hinahanap sa akin, iba pa rin ang nilalait sa akin. Pananalita ko, itsura ko, buhok ko, sekswalidad ko, buhay ko, lahat na,” exclaimed Charice.
In addition to Charice’s missery, most of the local celebrities are even taunting her.
Currently, she is gathering strength from his love ones because she doesn’t want to be treated as such. She is asking for a little respect from fellow Pinoys.
“Aminin na natin na ‘pag kumakanta ako rito, nakakatakot buksan ang ibang social networks. Ang daming bully,” said Charice.
Honestly, Pinoys were turned off and even disappointed when she publicly admitted that she is a lesbian. Moreso, when she ran against her mother.
But of course, being a lesbian is her choice, and there are consequences that she needs to accept.
