UMARANGKADA na ang lifestyle check laban kay Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Director General Alan Purisima.

Sinabi ni Ombudsman Conchita Carpio-Morales na binubusisi na nila ang statement of assets, liabilities and net worth (SALN) ni Purisima.

Bukod aniya kay PNP chief, awtomatiko ring sakop ng lifestyle check ang mga miyembro ng pamilya nito.

Wala aniyang deadline sa isasagawang imbestigasyon pero tiniyak ni Morales na “we’re trying to speed up all the things in light of the fact that there are so many controversies around.”

Samantala, inaasahang mabubuo ngayong linggo ang bagong tanggapan sa DILG na magsasagawa ng lifestyle check sa mga miyembro ng PNP.

Kabilang si Purisima sa mga unang opisyal na iimbestigahan ng tanggapan sa pamumuno ng DILG kasama ang National Police Commission, PNP, Office of the Ombudsman at Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR). ROBERT TICZON
