MALUNGKOT na masaya si Alex Gonzaga sa engagement na nangyari between Toni Gonzaga at sa long-time boyfriend nitong si direk Paul Soriano. Nalulungkot siya dahil hindi na niya solo ang atensyon at pagmamahal ng kanyang ate, at masaya siya dahil finally ay lalagay na rin sa tahimik na buhay ang kanyang kapatid.
“Finally I can share this to everyone!!!!!!!!! I will have a BROTHER!! I’m medyo saaad coz may kahati na ako sa ate but I can never think of anyone more deserving and suitable for my sister so I’m still really really happy!” ani Alex sa kanyang Instagram caption sa pinost niyang litrato nina Toni at direk Paul.
Ibinulgar naman ni Toni na ilang beses na nag-walk out ang kanyang sister habang nangyayari ang proposal. Although kahit may plano siyang umalis na sa kanilang Rizal residence pagkatapos na makasal siya, nangako naman siya kay Alex na iga-guide pa rin niya ito kahit may sarili na siyang pamilya.
“Si Alex ang pinakahirap na hirap sa lahat kasi ‘yung rooms namin connecting and I believe na it’s not just our rooms that are connected. Our souls are also connected. Bago pa ako masaktan, nasasaktan na si Alex for me. Bago pa ako magsalita, siya ‘yung unang magsasalita for me. Lagi niyang sinasabi, ‘Kapag kinasal ka na tapos may bahay na kayo, may kwarto ako?’ Sabi ko, ‘Oo, Catherine. Hindi ako mawawala sa buhay mo. May madadagdag pa nga sa buhay mo, si Paul,’” ayon pa sa panganay na Gonzaga sa programa ni sa The Buzz.
