THE Washington Wizards clichéd a seat in the second round of the NBA playoffs following a 75-69 win over the Chicago Bulls on Tuesday (Wednesday in Manila).
John Wall finished with 24 points while Nene returned from suspension to add 20 as the Wizards closed the series in five games.
The fifth-seeded Wizards advanced in the postseason for just the third time since the 1970s. They will meet Indiana or Atlanta in the Eastern Conference semifinals. The Hawks lead the series 3-2.
