Dinekwat ang Rolex ng talent

THE feisty controversial talent manager, Lito de Guzman, is facing another stimulating situation in his colorful life.

This time, a sexy starlet named Ace Diamante, is very adamant in her decision on suing Lito on charges of robbery.

Diamante alleges that Lito robbed her a Rolex watch worth P500,000.00 which is very precious and sentimental for her because aside from the sky-rocketing price, the expensive watch also came as a gift from her Chinese/Singaporean boyfriend.

According to Ace, her Rolex watch was missing on the latter part of December last year inside the condo unit of De Guzman where she stayed. After getting testimonies from the people who were going in and out of the unit, she alleges that the culprit was De Guzman.

As of press time, Ace Diamante has not filed the robbery charge against De Guzman yet.

Ace used to be a member of a hip-hop dance group in Singapore when De Guzman spotted her and lured her to join the all-female sing and dance group The Batchmates.

After sending an SMS message for Mother Lits to get his side, no reply was made but this space is open for his side of the story. We know that Mother Lits has a formidable strength in facing this kind of challenges kaya siguradong kayang-kaya niya ‘yan.

Atty. Vince Tanada brought the house down at the reputable UP Theater after the screening of his highly commendable film, Otso, filmed by Direk Elwood Perez.

Because of the good quality of the film, reviewers and critics alike gave him a standing ovation as he walked towards the exit door of the said theater. Otso is, unquestionably, deserving to be exhibited on international film festival as promised by the lead actor himself, Vince Tanada.

The stage musical Bonifacio: Ang Sarsuwela which was previewed at the Cinema 9 of SM North some weeks back for the High School students was equally laudable.

Not only did they receive a thunderous applause but they were also pampered with a standing ovation from the learning students.

We got an opportunity to watch the stage musical and honestly, the Philippine Stagers Foundation made it easy for the students to comprehend and understand the drama and light moments of Andres Bonifacio.

Gone were the days when these students were intellectually challenged on their classroom for the lecture about the history because with Atty. Tanada’s theater team, everybody is longing to watch and learn the history concerning Bonifacio.

Clap, clap, clap. More quality stage musicals please.
