Tempra run, tutulong sa typhoon victims

Magkakaloob rin ng tulong ang organizers ng sponsoring officials ng 2013 Tempra Run Against Dengue na nakatakda sa Nobyembre 17 (Linggo) sa Quezon City Memorial Circle para sa mga biktima ng typhoon ‘Yolanda’.

“Originally, part of the proceeds of this advocacy run will be used to purchase anti-dengue modalities. Now, we will also help, in our own humble way, those who were affected by Typhoon Yolanda,” saad ni Tempra senior product manager Cleo Roda Nodado.



“We will donate cases of bottled water, milk, medicine and many other items from our various sponsors. We know that this is a modest help, but we still hope these will go a long way in efforts to alleviate the plight of our fellow Filipinos,” pahayag naman ni project manager Matt Ardina ng organizing Subterranean Ideas.

Tatanggap rin ang organizers ng advocacy run ng kahit anong donasyon, mula sa mga damit, mga gamut, at mga pagkain, sa mga runner. Isang portion ng stage ang iatatayo para sa donated items.

Ang Toby’s Trinoma at Toby’s Mall of Asia ang registration partners ng takbuhan na itinaguyod din ng Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office, Philippine Sports Commission, Green Cross, Medicard, Gemilang4U International, Business Mirror, Health and Fitness Magazine, Coca-Cola, at National Capital Region Athletic Association.

Ang iba pang registration centers ay ang Sta. Lucia Healthcare Center, basement level, Sta. Lucia Mall, Cainta, Rizal (tel. no. 647-2545) at Liwasang Aurora ng QC Memorial Circle (malapit sa blue stage) na magtatapos sa Nobyembre 16 o isang oras bago ang gun start ng 10k run. Tinatanggap rin ang online registration sa takbo.ph. Ang interesadong participants ay puwedeng tumawag sa (landline) 504-5990, (Sun) 0923-3323737, (Globe) 0916-2246221 at Smart (0928-2618028).

Kailangang magdalan ng runnersng isang empty box ng Tempra syrup o drops o 10 empty blister packs ng Tempra tablets para makasali. Tanging runners na may Tempra entries ang entitled sa raffle para sa tsansang magwagi ng anumang premyo, tablets, cellphones, Sennheiser headphones, hotel accommodations, Star City GCs, Food GCs at movie passes.
