Malaki ang paniniwala ng Amerikanong si dating undisputed heavyweight champion Mike Tyson na depende sa kondisyong sikolohikal ni Pambansang Kamao Manny Pacquiao kung makababawi pa ito sa pagkatalo sa 6th round knockout kay Mexican Juan Manuel Marquez noong nakaraang Disyembre 8 sa Las Vegas, Nevada.
Sa panayam ng BoxingScene.com, naniniwala si Tyson na kung makakarekober si Pacquiao sa masaklap na pagkatalo kay Marquez ay magtatagal pa ito sa propesyon ng boksing.
Nakatakdang harapin ni Pacquiao si ex-WBA lightweight champion Brandon Rios na isang Mexican-American sa Nobyembre 24 sa Cotai Arena sa Macau, China.
“I think Manny Pacquiao still has a couple of years still in him. He took a sensational loss, but it’s all psychological [on how he deals with it]. If he took it really bad psychologically, because of the loss to Marquez, then we have a problem,” ani Tyson. “But if he took it as just a bad day at the office, then he can still make a lot of noise in boxing. [This fight depends] on the psychological condition that Pacquiao is in.”
Para kay Tyson, akmang-akma ang estilo ni Rios kay Pacquiao dahil handa itong makipagsabayan kaya nakatitiyak ang lahat ng magandang bakbakan.
“Rios is just a game fighter. When Pacquiao was at the top his game, he had so much movement, so much lateral movement and a guy like this is absolutely made for Pacquiao,” dagdag ni Tyson. “Normally a guy like this is made for Pacquiao.
