Bagong PPV world record, lilikhain?

“You have to understand – stop being so U.S.- centric. The world has changed,” giit ni Arum sa BoxingScene.com.

“There are revenue sources that are huge outside of the United States. And it’s not only Macau – look what happened in Russia where somebody paid $23M for a heavyweight match because they knew in Russia they could generate huge amounts of money from sponsorships and tickets.”

“It will be by far the biggest purse in Asia,” ani Arum. “I expect Manny to make approximately US$20 million and Rios US$4 million. There’s no question it will be the biggest boxing fight in Asia ever.”

“From a sporting viewpoint, this event will probably be the biggest event since the Beijing Olympics [in 2008],” giit naman ni Edward Tracy, chief executive ng co-promoters Sands China. “We are expecting [a capacity crowd] of around 12,000 spectators.”

– Gilbert Espena
